The Prairie Sun Project, hosted by the University of Lethbridge at its Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage in Nanton, AB over the weekend, featured many of the artists involved in TRU visual arts professor Donald Lawrence’s 2015 Midnight Sun Camera Obscura Festival. Several TRU students and one alumnus also had their artwork featured at the event.

A historic Canadian work of art, the Tousignant Ovale, has found its new temporary home at TRU thanks to a 5-year loan from the Kamloops Art Gallery (KAG).

The SSHRC-funded Camera Obscura project, led by TRU visual arts professor Donald Lawrence, is culminating in the Midnight Sun Camera Obscura Festival, held during Summer Solstice, June 17-21 in Dawson City, Yukon.
