Banner System Service Outage
6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21

Dear TRU Community,

Banner and related systems will be offline starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, until approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, while IT Services performs necessary upgrades. During this time there will be no access to the following: 

• Flexible Registration (online registrations)

• Self-service functions in myTRU and TRUemployee, including registration, payments, timesheets, transcripts and other academic record details, tax forms, FAST software, and faculty grade entry

• TRU Go mobile app

• Any TRU online forms requiring payment

• Application processing (applications to TRU via Education Planner BC)

• DegreeWorks

• Banner INB (Banner 8 forms), Banner Admin pages (Banner 9 forms), and Banner 9 services

• Other core applications related to Banner

The main TRU website will not be impacted by this outage. Thank you for your patience as ITS performs this required upgrade.
