Banner System Service Outage

5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23

Dear TRU Community,

IT Services will be performing critical upgrades to Banner and other Banner-related systems from 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 to approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday evening, Nov. 23.

During this time there will be no access to the following Banner-related systems: 

Flexible Registration (online registrations)
Banner self-service in TRUemployee and myTRU, including:

• Registration (signing up for classes)
• Payment (student payments & ability to pay on behalf of a student)
• Timesheets (entry and approval)
• Academic record details (transcripts and other requests)
• Tax forms (T4 and T2202a)
• FAST (financial, operating, and reporting software)
• Faculty Grade Entry

TRU Go mobile app
Banner INB (Banner 8 forms)
Banner Admin pages (Banner 9 forms)
Banner 9 services
Any TRU online forms requiring payment
Application processing (applications to TRU via Education Planner BC)
Other core applications related to Banner

The main TRU website will not be impacted by this outage. Thank you for your patience as ITS performs this required upgrade.
