Eats Amore serves up Italian lunch fare on campus.

A refreshing number of food venues at TRU are open this summer—food trucks, too—offering great breakfast and lunch fare and frozen treats.

Take a break to enjoy some of these summer favourites and soak up the sunshine on campus this season.

Summer locations

Starbucks, Old Main
Summer favourites: mango-dragonfruit Refresher, triple-mocha Frappuccino
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Dietary options: vegetarian, gluten-free

The Deli at U&M, Old Main
Summer favourites: infused water, build-your-own salad or wrap
Hours: Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dietary options: vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan and halal

Build your own wrap at the U&M Deli, Old Main second floor.

 

Tim Hortons, House of Learning
Summer favourites: chocolate-chip iced cappuccino, poutine
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Dietary options: vegetarian

Trades Café, Trades & Technology Building
Summer favourites: ICE CREAM!
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Dietary options: vegetarian, gluten-free

Food trucks – updated schedule

The Happy Camper, a 100% vegan food truck, will be outside Old Main by the basketball courts on Wednesdays for the rest of the summer, offering delicious vegan lunch options and snacks.

Hours: Wednesday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Dietary options: vegan, gluten-free

Eats Amore, a Kamloops favourite, will be outside Old Main by the basketball courts on Thursdays for the rest of the summer, offering homemade pasta, salads and sandwiches.

Hours: Thursday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Dietary options: vegetarian, gluten-free
