Felicia Girouard took a class assignment to develop a research project and turned it into a $4,500 award.
Currently in her fourth year, Girouard is majoring in international business with a minor in economics. When her professor, Dr. Ehsan Latif, tasked her class with developing a research project, it didn’t take Girouard long to decide upon the subject matter.
“I wanted to research something I knew about, and I wanted to create and conduct a survey.”
