Join TRU Student Research, Gender and Sexual Diversity and Whalemade Productions for a fabulous drag double feature on Friday, Feb. 14.

This event is open to students, staff, faculty and the community and celebrates the art of drag, honours love in all its forms, encourages self-love and brings the community together.

  • Presentations are a Drag Werkshop
    • 4 – 5 p.m.

Four Kelowna-based drag queens from the Whalemade Productions pod are hosting this confidence-boosting session in OLARA.

Attendees will learn about drag culture and performance tips.

  • Valentine’s Day at the Den
    • 5 – 6 p.m.

TRU’s on-campus pub, The Den, will remain open until 6 p.m. as the first go-to snack spot to fuel up between events.

Enjoy happy hour and a sweetheart’s special that’s perfect for sharing.

  • TRUly, Madly, Deeply Drag Show
    • 6 – 8 p.m.

Drag queens Freida Whales, Sophonda, Wanda Lust and drag king Syren’s Call are taking over Student Street for a Valentine’s Day extravaganza.
