One person’s trash is another’s compost. A student entrepreneur running a growing Kamloops business is named Student Entrepreneur National Champion in a competition organized by Enactus Canada. Friendly Composting was founded by TRU Masters in Environmental Economics and Management student Claire McLoughlin and Katie Forsyth when the pandemic broke out in BC in March 2020. McLoughlin will appear before an Enactus panel on May 12 and could take home a $ 10,000 prize. Read more
