Nearly 1,400 students have applied to cross the Convocation stage
5 ceremonies over 3 days
5 blessings by First Nations Elders over the course of three days
5 valedictorians
5 times the Canadian anthem will be sung, closing each ceremony
1.5 hours prior to each ceremony, graduands arrive
More than 150 assistants help over the course of three days and five ceremonies, made up of alumni, those from the community, and TRU staff and faculty
10 hours to set up using a crew of 10-15 people over the course of 1.5 days
7 hours to dismantle using a crew of 20 people over the course of one day

45th anniversary Convocate Again
During the June 11, ceremony at 2 p.m., a number of alumni will cross the stage to convocate again, in celebration of TRU’s 45th Anniversary (1970–2015). These Cariboo College and UCC alumni have elected to receive their past credential anew as a Thompson Rivers University certificate, diploma or degree. A number of alumni will cross the stage to receive a commemorative 45th anniversary parchment.
