In a thrilling display of skill, the TRU Lawggers emerged victorious against their alumni counterparts in the annual TRU Law Alumni Hockey Game. TRU Lawggers defeated TRU Law Alumni 11-4 at Sandman Centre on Saturday, January 20.

The Lawggers secured their impressive win as redemption from last year’s disappointing loss. Refereeing the matchup were none other than Professor Blair Major and sessional faculty member John O’Fee, KC, adding a touch of procedural fairness and keeping the rules of fair play in check.

The Lawggers are looking to carry the momentum from this victory into their tournament in Edmonton in March. Lawggers’ team captain Jordan Elenko was positive about the team’s prospects, stating, “The win tonight in front of our home fans was a major boost for our team. We’re confident that we can build on this momentum and are thankful to the admissions committee for bolstering our roster for years to come.”
