During this interactive session, students will be introduced to “Tech Stewardship” as a professional identity, orientation and practice that can enable you to play your part in bending the arc of technology towards good. We will also explore how to shape your career to best position you to contribute as a tech steward. This session will include both traditional and non-traditional tech-related career pathways.

This session will be led by Mark Abbott, P.Eng. MBA, is a TRU alumni. He currently serves as the Engineering Change Lab director, based at MaRS Discovery District. Mark is supporting a diverse movement of leaders and organizations working to reach tipping points where Tech Stewardship becomes the new normal.
