TRU earned a healthy haul of medals at the recent Skills Canada BC championships in Abbotsford.
And one student—Drew Hegyi—won gold in the high school carpentry category to qualify for the Skills Canada championships in Edmonton in June. But conflicting family commitments could keep him from attending.
All first-place finishers qualified for Edmonton and those winning gold in Edmonton, qualify for WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan, in southwest Russia.
TRU’s results
