Faculty of Education and Social work staff and faculty members joined together on October 6th for a harvest Thanksgiving gathering. The event included a potluck lunch, storytelling, and opportunities to reflect and give thanks in the spirit of the season. Attendees shared dishes and recipes holding special significance to them and their families, and spoke of their Thanksgiving traditions and memories. Donations for the campus food bank were welcomed at the event and in the week following, and EDSW’s generous spirit was reflected in the several boxes full of food items that were collected.
