Allison Patterson, a graduating Year 2 Teacher Candidate in the Bachelor of Education program (Faculty of Education and Social Work), is the 2017 recipient of the Ken Lepin Prize of Excellence in Education. One of fifteen TRU students recognized for outstanding academic achievement and leadership at the April 12 Lepin Awards Presentation, Patterson has been on the Dean’s list throughout her four years of study at TRU, and has been a great ambassador for the TRU B.Ed. during her two years in the program. An outstanding teacher candidate, Patterson, who grew up in Clearwater, hopes to teach the primary grades in our local region. Kudos to Allison from the Faculty of Education and Social Work!
