Dr. Wendy Hulko, Associate Professor in the School of Social Work and Human Service (Faculty of Education and Social Work), has been awarded funds through TRU’s Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Award Program. The $3000 award enables Hulko to hire an undergraduate student researcher to assist in her research endeavors, providing the student with a valuable training opportunity. Hulko’s research interests include dementia, intersectionality & interlocking oppressions, aging & older adults, Cuba, cultural safety, equity-seeking groups, queer studies, and equity and diversity in post-secondary education.
