Four Bachelor of Business Administration students are off to the western Canada Human Resources Case Competition in Edmonton in March after winning the TRU final today.
Kelsey Derzak, Jordan Ladouceur, Kaylee Gaspard and Victoria Santamaria were the winning team, beating out three other teams of four in the TRU case competition on Jan. 22.
Teams were given a human resources problem to solve and after time for research and preparation, presented their options and solutions to a panel of judges, business faculty members Angus Duff and Sal Barragan.
The group has six weeks to prepare for HRCWest. The competition, sponsored by the Human Resources Institute of Alberta, is scheduled for Mar. 4-5 at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
