Dr. Rod McCormick is interviewed by CBC Television’s Northbeat following his keynote address on May 22 at a two-day symposium on Indigenizing Psychology, Education & Healing. The symposium was held in Yellowknife, NWT.

TRU’s Dr. Rod McCormick delivered a keynote address during a two-day symposium on Indigenizing Psychology, Education & Healing.

McCormick is the BC Regional Innovation Chair in Aboriginal Early Childhood Development and made the presentation in Yellowknife, NWT, on May 22.

In his address “Truth and Reconciliation and What Happened to the Healing?”, Dr. McCormick said while the Truth and Reconciliation Commission has done a good job of addressing healing on the personal level, work needs to be done to address healing at the levels of family, community, and nation.
