Researchers studying impact of pandemic in BC

  Posted on: February 19, 2021

The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the BC Interior and throughout the province are under study.

TRU is collaborating with UNBC and UBC Okanagan on several research projects in this area.

Among the research projects being funded by the BC Ministry of Health is a study headed by TRU’s Bala Nikku that looks at whether new technologies are improving the resiliency of rural health-care practitioners.  He has teamed up with Khalad Hassan from UBCO and Rahul Jain from UNBC.

Associate Vice-President Research and Graduate Studies Will Garrett-Petts can provide an overview of TRU’s involvement in these research projects and how they will evolve.
