
TRU is hosting a free workshop for female and non-binary high-school students in grades 8-12 who are interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Date: Saturday, March 1
Time: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Kamloops campus, Old Main 1791
Students will:
- Create a working robot,
- tour the TRU Library Makerspace,
- explore VR equipment,
- make buttons and stickers,
- test podcasting skills,
- hear from Alumni,
- learn about different engineering disciplines,
- enjoy lunch and
- have fun!
