Don’t miss Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet), an exuberant comedy and feminist revisioning of Shakespeare’s Othello and Romeo and Juliet.
The narrative transports the audience from a dusty office in Canada’s Queen’s University to the fraught and furious worlds of two of Shakespeare’s best-known tragedies and turns them upside-down.
Director Catriona Leger says, “This witty, hilarious and thought-provoking play is a Canadian classic written by Ann-Marie MacDonald, one of our country’s most treasured writers. It’s an absolute joy and honour to bring this to Kamloops audiences with such an incredibly talented group of emerging artists.
