We hear a lot about how ecosystems around the world are experiencing unprecedented rates of human-caused change.
In this lecture, Dr. Schmiegelow will talk about “Landscape Conservation in the Anthrocene – Enhancing Resilience to Combat Uncertainty.” Dr. Schmiegelow will alert us to the accelerating pressures placed on our ecosystems and explore emerging models of conservation through a Canadian lens, including the contribution of Indigenous-led stewardship initiatives.
