Your donation of gently used books can help creative writing students gain a deeper understanding of their craft.

English and Modern Languages is collecting books for a sale Oct. 29 and 30 in Student Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Money raised will help offset costs of attending two major conferences in the new year.

One is the Association of Writers and Writing Programs in Los Angeles in March. The other is the Canadian Creative Writers and Writing Programs in Toronto in June.

Donations can be dropped off in advance or at the sale.
