Engaging communities in a good way – workshop

Community Campus Engage Canada (CCECanada) invites you on Thursday, March 27 at 10 a.m. for a virtual workshop, “Engaging Communities in a Good Way”.

This three-and-a-half-hour session is a chance for you to learn how principles and practices of decolonizing community-campus engagement can inform how we engage with all communities. Learnings are applicable across a wide range of departments and offices to enhance their community-minded activities.

Dr. Shawna Cunningham, director of ii’ taa’poh’to’p (Indigenous strategy), University of Calgary and Susan Mide Kiss, vice-president, community engagement, University of the Fraser Valley will lead workshop discussions along with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars and community engagement professionals from across Turtle Island.

Funds raised will allow CCECanada to continually provide supportive activities for their network of community and academic partners over 2025.
