Hexagone exhibit celebrates works by new BFA grads

The annual exhibit of works by students completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree runs until May 11 in the TRU Art Gallery and nearby studio spaces.

Called “Hexagone”, the exhibit features six BFA graduates: Whitney Drschiwiski, Ryland Fortie, Allie Hendrickson, Kathleen Lochhead, Leah Turpin and Maeghan Watkinson.

Also on display are works by visual arts students completing diplomas and certificates. They can be viewed in the studio space OM 1562 and the visual arts hallway.

There is something for everyone with an eclectic array of drawings, paintings, photographs, sculpture and installation.

Gallery hours are Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Be sure to sign the guest book to let the artists know what you thought of the show.
