Arts students share works with community

KAMLOOPS – Thompson Rivers University (TRU)’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) graduating class is showcasing Perceptions, an exhibition of their works, from now until May 15 on campus and at locations throughout Kamloops.

Students have continued using the university’s studios despite the COVID-19 pandemic and this exhibition reflects their hard work and TRU’s support. Kamloops residents are encouraged to take in the exhibit.

The exhibition features the work of the following artists: Elsie Joe, Janet McChesney, Junxiang Ma, Kaitlyn Heaney, Laura Amethyst Mackenzie, Laurie Mackie and Yue Li.

Date: April 17 to May 15, 2021

Time: TRU Art Gallery hours – Tuesdays 2 – 5 p.m., Thursdays 5 – 8 p.m. and Saturdays 2 – 5 p.m. Please watch for updates and links, as well as any changes to COVID-19 protocols.
