Check out the new, reusable containers offered around campus

Did someone say that you can reduce your footprint and get a free meal? Food Services and Sustainability want to help you achieve a more sustainable campus. We have partnered on another exciting green initiative, the eco-container reusable program. Our goal is to cut down on waste by reducing the amount of compostable takeout containers on campus. Visit one of the following partners to pick up your container today, Urban Market, The U&M Deli, The Workbench and International Café.

How it works:

  1. Order food and ask for it in a free, green eco-container – go to any participating location.
  2. Get a stamp card with your container – return your container after your meal and receive a stamp.
  3. Get a free meal – Once you’ve collected 10 stamps you’ll receive a free meal ($10 value before tax) at any of the participating locations.

Feel good about reducing waste and earn a free meal while you’re at it. We like being green.
