Drs. Noeman Mirza (School of Nursing) and Wendy Hulko (Associate Professor, School of Social Work and Human Service) have received an $11,425 Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) Convening and Collaborating (C2) grant for a research project on which they, along with Lori Seeley of Interior Health, will be collaborating. Slated to begin in May 2017, the Translating ROAR into Practice (TRIP) project will build on a previous project (Researching Older Adults’ Repositioning [ROAR]) for which the team received an Evidence Informed Practice (EvIP) grant from Interior Health. The TRIP project will allow the team to engage in knowledge translation activities to ensure that findings from the ROAR study make their way to the hands of knowledge users.
