As part of the Open Governance initiative announced on July 14, Senate agreed to have its public meetings broadcast on the web via livestream. The next Senate meeting is on Monday, Sept. 26 at 4:30 pm in the Irving K. Barber Centre in the Brown Family House of Learning on the Kamloops campus. You are welcome to attend or you can watch it live.

This is the first of several TRU governance body meetings which will now be live-streamed to the community. The Board of Governors and the Planning Council for Open Learning have also agreed to live-stream all their future public meetings starting this fall term.

The first joint meeting of Senate, the Board of Governors, and the Planning Council for Opening Learning will be held in the winter term; it will also be live-streamed.

The livestream broadcasts for these meetings will be available for viewing during the meeting. Presentations at Senate meetings will be converted to voiceover PowerPoint format and posted on the Senate web page after the Senate meeting.
