TRU Jams – For all music lovers!

October 6, 2010

For EVERYONE and ANYONE who has a love of music and wants to share it with everyone; whether you’ve been playing for 10 minutes, or 10 years, come join in with TRU Jams.

Even if you don’t know how to play an instrument, and are interested in learning, or just want to watch, that’s awesome, too.

Acoustic instruments are preferred — anything from Djembe hand drums, guitars, basses, harmonicas, wind instruments, pots, pans, water bottles…. hey, why not bring your plastic lunch containers.

All genres welcome: Whether it’s hip-hop, reggae, rhythm & blues, punk, funk, metal, or spoken word… come join the collective. Just keep it acoustic.

The JAMS will go Fridays from noon to 3pm on the rolling hills in front of the Campus Activity Centre. There’s NO obligation to go, it’s FREE, and you can come and go as you please.

Tell your friends. Help bring a music community to Thompson Rivers University.
