Come celebrate our roots, heritage and excellence at ACSA’s Black History Month Gala, themed Rooted in Royalty!
This evening honors the legacy, resilience and cultural pride of Afro-Caribbean history while creating space for connection, celebration and reflection.

Time: 7:30 – 11 p.m. (performances begin at 8 p.m.)
Location: TRU Kamloops campus, Campus Activity Centre, Mountain Room
The event features a keynote speaker, student performances, delicious cuisine and music by DJ BADBOI D from Vancouver.
The gala will highlight the richness of our cultures through music and performances, all within a formal and celebratory setting.
Guests are expected to follow a strict dress code of formal and traditional wear.
Whether in gowns, suits, or cultural attire, attendees are encouraged to dress with intention and pride as we celebrate royalty rooted in our heritage.
Each ticket includes dinner, one complimentary drink ticket and one entry into the raffle draw. Cash bar accepts cash, debit and credit.
