This interactive workshop introduces intercultural competence as a core skill for navigating diversity and creating inclusive, positive environments.
We will examine the foundational concepts of culture, identity, privilege and marginalization.
Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their own cultural identity including associated privilege and marginalization and its impact on day-to-day interactions.
We will also identify approaches to move beyond awareness to action.
