The COOP 1000 class invites you to a unique networking event on campus.
The class is integrating an innovative approach this semester with an undergraduate career research project and focus group that explores imposter syndrome in the workplace.
Often, students in co-op work terms describe feelings of imposter syndrome related to their role, performance and career trajectory.
By engaging and creating a dialogue on this topic, students will begin normalizing feelings of confidence versus competence, becoming more self-aware and better prepared for their careers.
Students will research the topic through readings such as Think Again by Adam Grant and develop focus group questions for the networking event.
To join one of two networking events in the Panorama Room at the International Building, RSVP to Leanne at lmihalicz@tru.ca or Sarah at sgibson@tru.ca to provide your preferred date so they can send you a calendar invite.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
