TRU Visual Arts students made an impression at the Kamloops Santa Claus Parade on Nov. 27, winning three awards.

Quarter to Five (a carousel theme) was voted best overall in its category to win the Parade Star.

Also winning top-3 awards: The Visual Arts Student Association (second place) and The 3Rs of X-Mess (third).

The three entries was part of a new initiative as part of a Special Topics Visual Arts course.
