The commitment to months and years of attending classes, studying, late nights and class projects will be recognized Oct. 16 when a couple hundred graduates cross the stage for Fall Convocation 2015.

In all, about 270 have registered for the ceremony to be held at the Tournament Capital Centre, 2 p.m., and to be witnessed by hundreds of family, friends and members of the TRU community. It will also be the final graduating class of TRU’s year-long 45th anniversary celebrations.

Serving as master of ceremonies will be TRU’s new Provost, Christine-Bovis Cnossen.

Free parking and free shuttle
Free parking will be available in Lot N, which is the spacious lot by the Residence and Conference Centre. Because the lot and your parking space may be close to a kilometre from the Tournament Capital Centre, a free shuttle service will run from Lot N every 15 minutes from 12:45 to 2 p.m. and 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. (and later if the ceremony runs late).

Professor emeriti
Professor Emeritus recognition will be bestowed upon Roger Collins, retired from the School of Business and Economics, and Christopher Walmsley, retired from the Faculty of Human, Social, and Educational Development.
