What does it mean to be human in an increasingly divided world?

Drawing on the African ethic of Ubuntu, “a person is a person through other persons”, this talk explores how we can bridge the social, cultural, political, religious, and technological divides. Through powerful stories and reflections on global injustice, human dignity, and solidarity, it considers how we can move beyond indifference and recognize our responsibility to one another. Ultimately, the talk invites us to embrace the “transcending power of We” and work together toward a more just, compassionate, and hopeful world, one grounded in our common humanity and care for our shared home.
