Join a workshop designed for students in their third, fourth or final year of studies.
Get reminded of the main areas of professionalism (essential spheres of success) that are the common factors considered in future job and program applications:
- Education: special courses and skills
- Related professional experience (including research)
- Service and volunteering
- Mentoring and networking
- Personal and professional development
- Awards and recognition
Reflect on and recall the experiences and activities you participated in during the past years of your undergraduate studies. Organize your milestone accomplishments across the academic years. Work through your ideas on Moodle and complete the process and receive a Moodle certificate.
This workshop ladders into “Present Your Path Part 2: Refine Your Purpose” offered on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Please see tru.ca/events for more details.
While this workshop can stand alone, students who complete both workshops will receive a Credly Badge; a digital credential that can be used to enhance your resume and LinkedIn profile.
Note: Both workshops will be offered again in Winter 2027.
Presented by: Sarah Gibson (science co-op coordinator) and Lindsay Blackstock (Faculty of Science, associate teaching professor)
