Hear from keynote speakers that are leading the national dialogue around resiliency and adaptability:

  • Mike Flanagan — Science Director of the Canadian Partnership for Wildland Fire Science and BC Innovation Research Chair in Predictive Services, Emergency Management and Fire Science at TRU.
  • Suzanne Simard — member of the Department of Forest and Conservation Science at UBC, and lead on numerous research projects including Designing Successful Forest Renewal Practices for our Changing Climate and the Salmon Forest Project.
  • Seth Klein — Team Lead and Director of Strategy of the Climate Emergency Unit and served for 22 years as the founding British Columbia Director of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
