Freckles is the name of this piece by Katrina Esguerra and is among the works for sale during the annual TRU Visual Arts Students Association holiday art auction.

It’s an opportunity to buy original art while helping student artists at the same time.

The annual TRU Visual Arts Students Association (VASA) holiday art auction continues until 6pm on Friday, Nov. 28 in the TRU art gallery located in Student Street.

Of the purchase price, 70 per cent goes to the student, with the remaining 30 per cent going to VASA. In the case of donated works, 100 per cent goes to VASA.

VASA will contact the winning bidders to inform them of the good news and to arrange for payment. Only cash is being accepted as payment.
