A one-day restorative justice symposium will take place at TRU on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Terrace room of the Campus Activity Centre.

Cost is $15 and is being done online through Eventbrite.

Restorative justice is an approach focused on repairing harm when a wrongdoing or injustice occurs in a community, and is being used around the world with favourable results.

Restorative justice advocates from the RCMP, Conservation Office, Ministry of Children and Families, and the Kamloops community will be sharing their success stories.

This symposium is sponsored by TRU Faculty of Arts, TRU Faculty of Student Development, and Kamloops Restorative Justice.
