The Thompson Nicola Cariboo United Way announced Dec. 13 that the 2012 campaign has raised $2,113,387 throughout the region. This is an $111,000 increase over last year’s campaign.
Thompson Rivers University was one of the top 13 campaigns from throughout the region that were acknowledged along with employees from the two largest campaigns, Gibraltar and Highland Valley Copper/United Steelworkers Local 7619, announced their contributions.
