Dr. Stan Miles will be teaching a new course Econ 3990: Game Theory and Strategy in the Fall 2012! This course is an introduction to game theory and strategic thinking. If you have seen the movie “The Beautiful Mind” and enjoyed it then this is the course for you. You will learn about Nash’s equilibrium, about when to signal your intentions, and about exploiting asymmetric information in order to profit. You will be exposed to a variety of models and many games will be played in class.
