Dr. Wendy Hulko (Faculty of Education and Social Work) has been awarded the 2016 TRU Award for Excellence in Scholarship. Hulko is a faculty member in the School of Social Work and Human Service and has been with TRU since 2004. Through her scholarship, Hulko is an advocate for equity-seeking groups including LGBTQ people, First Nations communities, and older adults.
