Huge co-op success story!

Carlee is a BSC Co-op student currently completing an 8-month work placement at TRIUMF in Vancouver. She realized that she wanted to graduate from TRU with co-op experience in the scientific field, and was the successful candidate for her TRIUMF co-op position. It has been an amazing experience for her; she has learned a lot and has also represented TRU extremely well.

Carlee has been involved with a very interesting project that is a collaboration between the Nuclear Medicine Department at TRIUMF and the BC Cancer Agency. The focus of the project is to find alternate methods to diagnose Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which is very difficult to diagnose.

Carlee will be returning to TRU this fall to complete her fourth year in the BSc, majoring in Chemical Biology, and will graduate this spring. Congratulations Carlee!
