Whose Culture is it, Anyway? Community Engagement in Small Cities, features the work of several TRU researchers.

Whose Culture is it Anyway? Community Engagement in Small Cities is one more example of TRU’s growing body of work that has developed from the 12-year Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)-funded Community-University Research Alliance (CURA).

The book, which published earlier this month, expands upon The Small Cities Book, edited by Will Garrett-Petts and published by New Star Books in 2005. Whose Culture is it Anyway? is co-edited by Garrett-Petts, the Associate Vice-President of Research at TRU, along with Professor Emeritus James Hoffman and associate professor and Provost’s Fellow Ginny Ratsoy. According to New Star, the book “is a major contribution to the growing body of literature on the special character and value of small cities.”
