Convocation is a time to celebrate the accomplishments of graduates who have completed their programs and in doing so, are looking forward to the possibilities and opportunities their education will bring them. The ceremony is filled with the appropriate pomp and pageantry such rich accomplishments deserve.

Fall Convocation 2014 was held Oct. 10, with the highlight of course being the 250 students who registered to cross the stage and receive their credentials from a range of programs and areas of study.

In crossing the stage, students posed for official photographs and shook hands with, and received warm congratulations and smiles, from Chancellor Wally Oppal and TRU President and Vice-Chancellor Alan Shaver.

Retired faculty members were honoured with emeritus recognition and the conferring of an Honorary Doctor of Letters was bestowed upon renowned adventure photographer, filmmaker, and environmentalist, Pat Morrow. Read more about Morrow.
