TRU’s website has undergone some massive changes in recent months and to put them into perspective, imagine the following situation:
You’re updating your home inside and out for visual appeal as well as beefing up its usability and durability from the foundation right up to what’s covering the roof.
Multiply that overhaul many times and you have a good idea of what’s been done so far and what’s to come as we bring our website into the modern era where it’s our premier tool for recruitment and information.
To date, nearly a thousand pages have been spruced up.
Other than looks, you’ve probably also noticed the new pages automatically adjust to whatever screen or device you’re using, whether it’s a desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone. In the world of web speak, that’s referred to as being “responsive”.
A lot of work has been done and there will be more in the coming months. In the meantime, check out some of the modernizing to the pages of these groups, departments, schools, and faculties:
Aboriginal Education Resources
Environment and Sustainability
Faculty of Human, Social and Educational Development
Leadership and Environmental Sustainability (program)
