From now through April 27, you can save up to $20 in library fines through the Library’s 8th Annual Food for Fines campaign.
Bring non-perishable food items into the TRU Kamloops and Williams Lake libraries (during service desk hours) to waive a portion of your overdue library fines. Each food item is worth $2 in fines, and the library will waive fines up to a maximum of $20.
Food items collected in the TRU Kamloops Library will go to the TRUSU Foodbank, while TRU Williams Lake Library donations will go to their local foodbank.
Bring your food to either the Main Library or the 3rd floor of the Brown Family House of Learning.
