The Western Canada Summer Games begin August 5th

The Western Canada Summer Games kick off with Opening Ceremonies in less than four weeks. Up to 2,300 athletes, coaches and managers will be coming to Kamloops to compete in 19 sports at 12 different venues in and around the City. The Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Medal Ceremonies, nightly festivals, cultural events, receptions and celebrations will not be possible without the aid of up to 3,000 volunteers. The Games need another 800 volunteers, in areas such as food services, security, ticket-takers, administration, and daily festival support. For 15 hours of your time you will receive a volunteer recognition package.
