TRU IT Services and TRU Marketing and Communications have recently collaborated to develop and launch Mobile TRU at m.tru.ca
Mobile TRU is a mobile friendly gateway to TRU information and services that enhances communication and provides on-the-go information for Students, Faculty, and Staff.
Simply enter “m.tru.ca” on your mobile device browser, and you’ll have instant access to a number of TRU campus services including TRU News and Events, Food Services Information, WolfPack updates, Computer Lab Availability, Wireless Printers, Campus Maps, Directory (Telbook) and Security contacts. Don’t forget to bookmark or add it to your homescreen!
Problems viewing Mobile TRU? Please let us know so we can fix it! While m.tru.ca is designed to load on a variety of mobile devices, we know that mobile browsers can be picky. Lea Baxter, a Thompson Rivers University Computing Science student at the 2010 BCNET Poster Competition. Lea's submission about TRU's mobile web strategy and the new TRU Mobile Website (http://m.tru.ca) won 3rd place. Lea is currently studying in the CSOM program and plans to continue with the Bachelor of Computing Science. She is also a co-op student with TRU's IT Services department.
