KAMLOOPS-Here’s a truly once-in-a-lifetime offer: until UCC gets a new name as BC’s newest provincial university, there’s something to help fill the gap: “Name that University” t-shirts.

Right now, UCC has a call out for residents in the UCC region to suggest names for the new university. With these t-shirts, however, it doesn’t matter whether your name suggestion wins or not: everyone’s a winner. Just fill in the blanks!

The shirts are on sale for $9.95 right now at The university bookstore “bookies”, located in the Campus Activity Centre. There are three styles to choose from:

“We’ve seen some good ones, like ‘Loops U’ or ‘Spoolmak University,’ for
instance,” says Bookies Sales Coordinator Karen Hunt, noting that
‘University of BLANK’ is the best-seller so far. The shirts are available
at Bookies at UCC Kamloops and in the UCC Williams Lake bookstore.
