The Critical Cross-Border Conversations (CCC) Group has won the endorsement of Thompson Rivers University. This is a significant scholarly initiative that will provide a truly cross-disciplinary academic forum using cutting-edge communication strategies that draw on the very best of TRU’s Open Learning assets. Researchers will be brought together to advance scholarship concerned with social justice, critical pedagogy, and the contribution of research to social transformation. This is unique and important, and represents new understandings of the reach and quality of scholarship at TRU. CCC is a TRU-based, nationally and internationally linked, multidisciplinary research group committed to the creation, dissemination, and networking of critical research, for the purpose of fostering social justice and equity.
